Trip was taken to the CARA shelter in Mississippi when they received a call that a stray dog was under somebody's porch. He came right out when the CARA folks called to him. Even though he was in pain from a gunshot injury to his face, he was just as sweet as could be. Trip lost his right eye as a result of the shooting. However, that doesn't slow him down at all. He's a nice, loving, approximately 2 year old dog that is great with people, other dogs, and cats. Trip is a very fast learner, and he's eager to please. He is a happy boy that groans when you scratch the right spot behind his ears or rub his belly. He is a wonderful companion. Trip is heart worm negative, neutered, UTD on all vaccinations (to include rabies, canine influenza and distemper). He is waiting for someone to recognize what a fantastic boy he is.
