Domestic Medium Hair - Gray and white - Misty - Medium - Baby
Misty is a lovely, sweet smoky gray tabby with a very furry, medium length coat. We are still working to getting her comfortable with visitors (children and adults) and she is doing well, but her new person will need to have some patience and continue to help her work out her shyness. She loves to be petted and held and she is becoming a real lap kitty. She loves to be brushed and is not shy about exploring her surroundings. Misty plays very well by herself and her favorite toys are the balls with bells inside. She is litter box trained and knows how to use a kitty door (she goes on our back porch, sits on her kitty window seat and loves to watch the birdsshe even makes that little chirping sound when she sees birds!!) While she is not yet completely used to my 3 large dogs, she no longer runs and hides when they are around, but stays very cautious and observant. She is still young and will adapt well to any environment, given the chance. She has not had regular exposure to small children or dogs, but she should adapt well in any household with a little patience and understanding. Although she was an outside (feral) rescue at approx. 7 mos. old, she has adapted quite well to the inside and my 3 other cats. The standard $75 Jackson Friends adoption fee applies, which includes the vaccinations and spay, quite a bargain, just price them at your vet and see how much you are saving! Plus, time in a foster home is priceless! In keeping with the Jackson Friends policy, Misty will not go to anyone that in intends to have her de-clawed.
